    A: The World Wide Web was invented by Tim Berners-Lee and Robert Cailliau in 1990.     A: The earliest dated printed book was printed in China in 868 AD. However, it is suspected that book printing may have occurred long before this date. In 1041, movable clay type was first invented in China. Johannes Gutenberg invented the modern printing press with replaceable/moveable wooden or metal letters in 1436. His invention is credited with the revolution in the production of books, sciences, the arts, and religion.
