Lunar Lander thermal Analysis
Thermal Analysis of lunar lander undertaken to obtain temperature predictions for lander systems and components. This is important for setting early requirements for electromechanical elements subject to extreme thermal conditions in transit to the Moon, during lunar orbit, and while on the Moon’s surface.

Lander Legs and Feet

Designing lander legs and feet can be a tough challenge! The Rocket City Space Pioneers (RCSP) team has presented a new design challenge to students at the Huntsville Center for Technology (HCT). The task involves exploring concepts for lander leg and foot designs. Performance requirements were provided to the students by the RCSP team and their early design concepts were reviewed.

Lunar Lander Systems

Major Lunar Lander Systems: The Rocket City Space Pioneers' Lander Design is composed of multiple systems: Planar Transmit Antenna, Receiving Antenna, Propulsion Tank, Radar Altimeter, Navigation cameras, Avionics Stack, Rover Deployer, S-Band Transponder
